station

One of the first buidlings you notice as you turn into Theodore is the old Theodore CPR station, one of the original ‘Pratt Designs’, a type 9 station.  This station was originally built in 1902, survived a train wreck in 1956 and was used until the 1970's. It was purchased by the Village of Theodore & moved to its present location. It has functioned over the years as a senior citizen’s drop-in centre and after being declared a municipal heritage site, it was developed into a museum in 2000. Today the building is owned & managed by the Village of Theodore.

A quick tour will also reveal to you a handful of churches built over the years including the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, the Lutheren Church and the Catholic Church.
