Theodore & District Recreation Complex
The Theodore Recreation Complex consists of a curling rink, hockey arena, & a community hall. The curling rink & the hockey arena are equipped with artificial ice and operate from approx. the end of November to March each season.
Activities in the complex include multi-league curling, recreational & minor hockey leagues & figure skating. The hockey arena boasts 2 levels of interior viewing & heated bleachers. Theodore boasts two winning hockey teams: the Theodore Buffaloes (senior hockey) and the Theodore Grizzlies (minor hockey).
The community hall is air conditioned & equipped with a fully functional kitchen, bar facilities & can seat 350. Serviced by an elevator, the hall also contains a well-lit stage & large hard wood dance floor. Over the years it has hosted a variety of events including craft sales, wedding receptions, community dinners, bingos, fashion shows, etc.
