Theodore Heritage Centre

The Theodore Heritage Centre, formerly the Historical Museum, is located in a rare type of CPR station of the PRATT design. Built in 1902, the station now houses artifacts from the community and area, as well as items of general historical value.
It Re-opened to the public on July 20, 2024 after being closed to the public for many years thanks to its basement upgrades and main floor restorations.
The Theodore Museum Revitalization Project has continued under the direction of Facilities Manager Bruce Frederickson.  The Main Floor Renovations over the past year are now completed.  A NEW COFFEE SHOP/CAFE is now open to the public! The "RAILWAY CAFE" is open to serve up that fresh cup of coffee and more!

The room at the north end of the museum has been reserved exclusively for the museum artifacts. The full basement area has been partially developed into a community recreation area which includes a classic snooker table, shuffle board, and bowling lanes.  This 'Pool Hall' part of the project has a goal to be completed by years end.  The upstairs portion will be worked on over the winter and into 2025.
Donations are always welcome!  Our memorial wall can have a permanent engraved plaque in memory with a minimum donation of $1000.
If there are any questions about the museum OR to volunteer you can contact Bruce Frederickson at 306-621-1276 or email: brucefred@sasktel.net.
