The United Church has an ongoing and unique fundraiser that helps raise funds for the church AND can help you save or perhaps be a gift for someone special, family or friends:

The Fundraiser is Gift Cards! There are different categories you can choose from: Grocery - Choose from Real Canadian Superstore, Real Canadian Wholesale Club, M & M Meat shops, Sobeys or Safeway. You can purchase in various denominations - $10, $25 or $50. Various RETAILERS - Shell, A&W;, Boston Pizza, Subway, Starbucks, Claire's, The Gap, La Senza, Old Navy, Itunes, Chapters/Indigo, Galaxy Cinema, Shoppers Drug Mart and so many MORE! A Percentage of each Sale goes towards the Church and you in turn get a gift card to use as you wish! It's a great fundraiser that benefits both! THE THEODORE HEALTH CENTER

- The Health center recently just completed their fundraising efforts for a new Handi-Van to help transport residents! They successfully reached their goal of $30,000! Early in 2017 they will order their new Handi-Van! In addition to the forthcoming Handi-Van options, Maybe perhaps you'd like to be a volunteer driver? To help clients get to medical appointments. Full training is provided. You can drop by the health center anytime and pick up a volunteer application form or feel free to call the Sunrise Health region at 1-306-786-0468. Join the volunteer team to help in many other ways: Visiting Volunteers, Meals on Wheels, First Responders or maybe Palliative Care. There are many options as a volunteer.
